Karen Chan will be doing a live reading of her children’s book, “What’s That?” which is a heartwarming story about the foods that make up who we are and how the meals we eat can bring us together.

UniverSOUL Hip Hop is a community-based, cultural education group of international, award-winning artists and educators. They will be performing an energetic and fun dance!

Talented musician RYOJI will be performing with a full band and big crew of dancers called the Ondo Bon Dance Groove.

Talented traditional Japanese calligraphy artist Mimi Kaigetsu Wada will be live painting and teaching attendees how to write the word “kibō” (hope) in Japanese calligraphy.

Janna of Anybody Art will be leading koinobori making, as well as general arts and crafts activities throughout the day. She will also have art boxes available for purchase.

Good Screenprinters will be doing a live DIY screen printing workshop of a design unique to our event! Bring your blank totes and shirts, or purchase blanks on-site.
